Equipment categories allow each company to organize its fleet in a customized way without changing the standardized equipment types used across the organization.
While types represent a global classification, categories are company-specific.

How to create a category
To create a category:
- Navigate to Equipment > Categories.
- Click Create Category.
- Select the company.
- Enter the category name.
- Choose a representative icon.
- Click Create and Save.
The category will only be available for the selected company.
Custom icons and AI
Categories can have their own icons to simplify visual identification.
The platform also supports AI-powered icon generation after category creation.
Important information
