How do I update equipment information?

The Touchway platform allows equipment information to be updated in two ways:

• Individual editing through the equipment details page.
• Bulk editing for multiple equipment records at the same time.

Editing a single equipment

Individual editing is recommended when only one equipment record needs to be updated.

To edit an equipment:

1. Navigate to Equipment > List.
2. Locate the desired equipment.
3. Open the actions menu (⋮).
4. Click View Details.
5. Open the Details tab.
6. Update the desired information.
7. Save your changes.

Available information may include:

• Equipment name
• Identification
• License plate
• Equipment type
• Category
• Manufacturer
• Model
• Model year
• Serial number
• Energy type
• Primary color
• Access expiration date
• Other equipment-specific information

Editing multiple equipment records at once

Bulk editing allows the same change to be applied to multiple equipment records simultaneously.

To use bulk editing:

1. Navigate to Equipment > List.
2. Select the desired equipment records.
3. Click Bulk Edit.
4. Choose the field to update.
5. Enter the new value.
6. Click Apply.

The selected field will be updated for all selected equipment records.

Important information

• Bulk editing applies the same value to all selected equipment records.
• Only fields that support bulk updates will be available.
• Some fields may require specific permissions to be modified.
• All changes are recorded in the equipment history.
