How do I register a new equipment?
Learn how to register a new equipment in the Touchway platform so it can be used in operations, installations, inspections, and other system features.
Before requesting GPS or RFID installations, the equipment must be registered in the platform.
To register a new equipment:
- Navigate to Equipment > List.
- Click Register Equipment.
- Fill in the equipment information:
- Equipment name
- Company
- Equipment type
- Category
- Identification
- License plate (if applicable)
- Serial number
- Click Register.
Once registered, the equipment will be available for use across the platform.
Important information
- The equipment name is required.
- A company must be selected before choosing a category.
- Providing identification, license plate, and serial number is recommended for better equipment management.
