How do I request an RFID replacement?
Request the replacement of an RFID tag installed on an equipment and track the entire approval and service process through the Touchway platform.
RFID replacement allows you to request the replacement of an RFID tag already installed on an equipment.
This service is commonly used in situations such as:
- Damaged RFID tag or reading failures
- Replacement with a new identification tag
- Equipment replacement
- Operational updates
- Equipment re-identification requirements
To request an RFID replacement:
- Navigate to Equipment > List.
- Select one or more equipment records.
- Click Replace RFID.
- Fill in the request information:
- Request scope
- Responsible contact person
- Contact phone number
- Service location
- Desired service date
- Replacement reason
- Notes (optional)
- Click Request Service(s).
After submission, the request will be sent through the approval process and then scheduled for technical service.
Important information
- Only equipment with RFID installed can receive replacement requests.
- A replacement reason is required.
- Multiple equipment records can be included in the same request.
- All required fields must be completed before submitting the request.
- Depending on your organization’s rules, approval may be required before the service can be performed.

When should I request a replacement instead of a removal?
